Ken Shaw Jr. serves as CEO and CTO of Infrascale. Mr. Shaw is an experienced engineer and entrepreneur in the cloud storage and online backup industry. His expertise in storage oriented cloud computing and offshore software development has led him to be a thought leader in the cloud storage industry.
For the past 12 years Mr. Shaw has founded and operated several software companies focused on building massively scalable cloud storage systems for backup, archiving and collaboration. Mr. Shaw originally founded SOS Online Backup with two employees and has grown it into Infrascale, with 100 employees world-wide.
Since its inception, Infrascale has protected millions of end-points and today has more than 1,000 integration and distribution partners around the world across its product portfolio. Hundreds of thousands of businesses and companies around the world use Infrascale’s technology to protect, share manage and archive their data in the cloud.
Prior to founding Infrascale and SOS Online Backup, Mr. Shaw consulted for the US Government on offshore technology trade policy, prior to which, he ran Safe Offsite Pty Ltd, and JNS Technology, two related businesses in Australia, that focused on custom private cloud backup, storage and content management solutions for SMBs.
Michael Bell is a veteran CEO and entrepreneur in the software industry. For the past 20 years Mr. Bell has served as a senior executive and chief executive in early-stage startups through public company executive roles.
Mr. Bell currently leads Infrascale as its President. In this role, Mr. Bell oversees all sales, marketing and finance operations for Infrascale and its products. Mr. Bell manages all Infrascale staff and operating locations worldwide, including Los Angeles, Ukraine and India.
Prior to Infrascale, Mr. Bell served as president of a leading B2B SaaS company in the logistics industry, 3PL Central. While there Mr. Bell drove rapid growth, doubling revenue in the first year and achieved the company’s first-ever operating profit.
In 2007, Mr. Bell launched Software.com. He took it from a strategic vision and transformed it into a fast-growing operating entity, achieving break-even within its first year of operation. Software.com contains industry-leading content and one of the largest collections of consumer software downloads.
Mr. Bell founded Encore Software and served as its CEO for fourteen years. With an initial capitalization of only $25,000 in 1993, Mr. Bell grew Encore to become one of the top-ten consumer software publishers in North America, with annual revenues of over $50 million. This performance was recognized in 2000 and 2001 by Inc. Magazine, which included Encore Software in its annual list of America’s 500 fastest-growing private companies, by the Software Council of Southern California, which voted Mr. Bell CEO of the Year, and by Soft-Letter, which listed Encore Software on its elite list of “Productivity Champions.”
As CEO, Mr. Bell guided Encore Software within an extremely competitive, consolidating industry, eventually selling a majority stake in Encore to Navarre Corporation [NASDAQ: NAVR] in August 2002. Mr. Bell continued to lead Encore as an independent publishing entity, through 2007. Today, Encore still publishes some of the industry’s most recognized software brands acquired under Mr. Bell’s leadership including The Print Shop, Monopoly, Reader Rabbit, Spyware Dr.,Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?, Mavis Beacon, Family Tree Maker, Hoyle Card Games and many others.

Chief Financial Officer
Hardy Parungao is a top-notch global finance and accounting executive with expertise in a variety of organizations ranging from start-up operations to Fortune 500 companies in the fields of technology, financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, manufacturing, professional and service companies. A high-performance leader: well-rounded, intuitive, dynamic, innovative, and an architect of strong, motivated, effective, efficient and productive world-class teams. A technical finance expert with business and operational acumen, intellectual horsepower, strategic agility, drive for results, unquestionable integrity & ethics, and interpersonal savvy.
Hardy’s primary responsibility is to direct the overall finance, accounting, operational and administrative activities for InfraScale including reporting, planning, analysis & forecasting, treasury & funds management, procurement and capital investments, corporate governance and human resources. He is also responsible for overseeing systems and processes including operations of offices overseas.
Prior to joining InfraScale, Hardy served as Senior Vice President, Finance in Application Technology and Servicing divisions of Countrywide / Bank of America where he spearheaded reorganization and centralization of finance functions, business process re-engineering, reporting and governance, as well as M&A transition and integration process. At Syncor/Cardinal Health, he headed the company’s global operations in 23 countries among major continents – North America, South America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Australia/New Zealand where he managed global finance and reporting, strategic business planning, global treasury, international taxation and tax planning. He also handled business modeling, due diligence, transition and integration functions in the company’s merger and acquisition initiatives and completed more than 20 acquisitions. Hardy also led finance functions in major consumer companies like Fortune Brands, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola. He was a recipient of multiple awards in Leadership, Team Excellence and Innovation.
Hardy started his career as a CPA – auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics (Accounting) and Master in Business Administration with concentration in International Business and Finance. Hardy has travelled to 30 countries around the world, and currently lives in West Hills California with his 3 adorable black Labradors- Darna, Kiko and Wadu.
Robert E. Prigge
SVP, Worldwide Sales
Robert Prigge has over twenty years of sales leadership experience, and has run some of the largest cloud businesses in the world.
Prior to joining Infrascale, Robert was the Chief Commercial Officer for Clean Power Finance, a Kleiner Perkins-backed cloud B2B platform, and Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for Sterling Commerce through its $1.4 billion acquisition by IBM. Following the integration of the company into IBM, Robert led North America for IBM’s billion dollar B2B division. He was also a Vice President of Sales for global cloud security and software leader Secure Computing.
Robert is fluent in Japanese, matriculated at age 16, and received a BS in engineering from the University of Illinois.
VP, Demand Generation
Dean Nicolls has over twenty years of B2B marketing leadership experience working with some of the largest and fastest growing cloud companies, including Starbucks, Microsoft, and a number of early stage tech start ups
Prior to joining Infrascale, Dean was the VP of Marketing for TeleSign, the leading cloud-based, solution for phone-based two-factor authentication, and VP of Marketing for LiveOffice, a cloud-based email archiving company that was acquired by Symantec for $115 million in 2012. He has considerable experience in B2B demand generation, channel marketing, social marketing, public/analyst relations, sales/partner enablement, and brand development.
Dean received a BS in Business from Pepperdine University and his MBA from the University of Washington.
Steve “Max” Ackerman
Vice President of Research & Development
Steve “Max” Ackerman serves as the Vice President of Research & Development, leading R&D initiatives across all Infrascale product lines and technology sets. Max is a proven leader in the data protection industry and brings extensive industry knowledge to the Infrascale executive team. Max formerly served as founder and CEO of Eversync Solutions, acquired by Infrascale in June of 2014.
Prior to Eversync, Max served as co-founder and CTO of Phobos Corp., where, in just 3 years, his extensive entrepreneurial, management, team building, and engineering skills led to SonicWALL’s $279 million acquisition of Phobos in 2000. SonicWall was later aquired by Dell in 2012.
Max has a history of innovative technology product development spanning 15 years for various companies. His past successful product developments, both hardware and software, include: SonicWALL and Cisco’s SSL security offloading and acceleration devices; Phobos’ line of networking products for Oracle, Hewlett Packard, and Silicon Graphics Incorporated, as well as Phobos’ network traffic load balancers.
Max received his degree in Computer Science from the University of Vermont.
General Manager India
John Solomon joined Infrascale in 2007 and has grown his way into leading the entire India Operations. He assumed the role of General Manager in 2009 and has been directly managing lead generation and sales teams. He also indirectly manages back office operations that include billing and collection, infrastructure and customer service. John is based in Chennai office in India but also travels to Bangalore sales office.
John has over 10 years of experience in inbound and outbound marketing. Prior to Infrascale, he led global marketing and communication in ZSL, Inc. and Corporate Asia Technologies.
John earned his Master in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing and Human Resources. John and his wife, Revathy, have two lovely daughters.
Director Customer Success & Technical Support
Joining Infrascale in 2014, Luke brings a wealth of knowledge to the team resulting from his professional experience spanning many diverse industries. His current responsibilities include managing global departments in Customer Success & Technical Support.
Prior to joining Infrascale, Luke has overseen the successful analysis, management, and deployment of organizational strategies for startup to mid-size businesses. Focusing on efficient technology, he has lead multiple companies from limited proprietary systems and business processes to full featured ERP systems and effective reorganization. His past teams have trained, supported, and delivered products to hundreds of thousands worldwide.
Luke is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and he currently resides in El Segundo, California.
Director of Engineering Operations
Alexey Turchanikov is an experienced engineering leader with deep expertise in agile development methodology, large-scale distributed software system design and secure cloud storage systems. Alexey is responsible for the technical development and architecture of Infrascale’s platform – and leadership of Infrascale’s development organization. Alexey joined the company in 2010 as Lead Architect for SOS Online Backup. His ability to extract performance from and create product ownership within our Development and Operations teams has been key to his past and current success.
Prior to Infrascale, Alexey had leadership roles at several large software development houses, focusing on Telecom Industry and Government Institutions.
Alexey graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine and holds degrees in both Management and Mathematics.
Director of Consumer Business
Stephen Gold leads a team responsible for delivering the online experience of SOS Online Backup, Infrascale’s retail division, dedicated to creating the best online backup services in the world.
Stephen has over ten years of marketing and management experience. He joined Infrascale in 2012 as director of Business Development and in 2014 was named director of Consumer Business. In 2013, Stephen played a significant role in building a new product line in partnership with Malwarebytes, one of the world’s leading computer security firms.
Prior to Infrascale, Stephen worked for Pro Softnet Corporation as well as Apple, Inc in a number of marketing, business development and operations roles. He holds a degree from Antelope Valley College.
Director of Strategic Accounts
Peter Dimitriadis, has more than 15 years of experience working with enterprises to solve content, knowledge and document management challenges with innovative solutions. In his role as Channel Sales Director and Business Development Manager for Infrascale EMEA and Asia, Peter puts his extensive industry and regional contacts to work leading Infrascale’s partnerships and business relationships in the region
Previously, Peter built the EMEA channels for North American technology innovators including Hummingbird and OpenText Corporation from their inception to successful maturation.
Peter has worked and lived in Paris, France; Athens, Greece; Barcelona and Madrid, Spain; Johannesburg, South Africa and Beijing, China and wins the recognition of speaking the most languages among the Infrascale executive team including English, French, Greek and Spanish.
He received his MBA degree from Madrid’s Instituto de Empresa, recognized as one of the leading business schools in the world, and his undergraduate international business degree from the American University in Paris.
Director of Channel Sales
Mr. Zaroudny brings his entrepreneurial skillset specialized in Platform, Infrastructure and Software as a Service to Infrascale. Prior, Mike developed sales channels and managed operations for Atlas Accelerator, the Northwest’s largest tech incubator. Notable engagements and exits include Liquid Planner and Escapia, acquired by HomeAway in 2010.
Outside of technology Mike was the co founder of Oil Oxidizer Inc., a petroleum-remediation services company and developed patented-technology to clean the oil laden beaches of Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi resulting from the Deepwater Horizon Spill. Other endeavors include The Lone Wolf Cigar Company, video production for Bentley Motors UK and Proprietor of a small boutique hotel nestled cliff-side in Santa Monica.
Mike’s Passion for vintage automobiles also keeps him busy as Managing Editor of the Monterey Historics Guide, a travel company dedicated to navigating the famed Monterey car week.
Mike Zaroudny lives with his wife Anna in Malibu, CA
