Chief Executive Officer
Rob brings over 20-years of experience in capital markets, and structure credit and private equity investments. As Chief Financial Officer, Rob oversees the financial strategy and health of the company including accounting, capital markets, liquidity management, and financial analytics.
Prior to joining Infrascale, Rob was a General Partner at private investment firm Route 66, and managed credit-focused private investments, including structured debt and forward purchase commitments, and private equity. His thought leadership and depth of experience in portfolio management, including structuring, analysis, trading, and risk management, helped maintain a collaborative and creative process that balances capital efficiency and value for Route 66’s clients. During his tenure at Route 66, Rob deployed over $100M in private debt investments generating a gross return in excess of 15%.
Rob also headed the capital markets function of Goal Financial, a student loan originator, where he issued and restructured over $1 billion of debt securities and generated profits in excess of $100 million. He also managed a $2.5 billion portfolio of fixed income investments for E*Trade Bank; and helped manage a $7 billion mortgage loan portfolio at Friedman Billings Ramsey. Rob began his career at KPMG as a structured finance analyst, where he honed his financial modeling expertise across a variety of mainstream and niche asset classes.
Rob holds a BS in Accounting and International Finance from American University and an MBA from the University of Maryland College Park.
Tom Paone joined in July 2016 and brings more than 20 years of experience and data protection industry knowledge to Infrascale. As Senior Vice President of Sales, Tom is responsible for the company’s channel, field and inside sales groups, as well as Infrascale’s pre-sales technical and implementation services teams.
Prior to Infrascale, Tom was Director of Channel Sales for Unitrends focused on delivering appliance and cloud-based data recovery solutions through a national network of partners. Tom has also served in multiple sales and sales leadership roles with industry leaders including Symantec, VERITAS and Seagate Software.
As an industry veteran and experienced sales leader, Tom excels at building and developing high-performance sales teams that drive consistent and predictable revenue growth.
Tom leads the global sales team and is based in our Orlando, FL sales office.
Andriy Bratiychuk has 20 years of experience in IT and product development, working his way from a developer in an outsource company (Aricent), maturing as a tech lead then a department manager (at Materialise, a 3D printing company), and ultimately to the most senior Department Manager role for 3D printing software, where he built/scaled teams while setting up a new R&D office in Poland. Prior to joining Infrascale, Andriy served as an Agile coach at Glomex GmbH (part of ProSiebenSat1 group) where he and a team of Agile coaches successfully transformed the corporation from waterfall to agile processes.
Andriy holds a Master of Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics. His Ph.D. thesis was “The Investigation of Queueing Systems with Finite Waiting Space”.
He is passionate about new technologies and effective SDLC (software development life cycle) processes. He enjoys working with people and helping them to develop. He loves to learn new things, apply best practices, and achieve results. His motto is: “Only by working hard will you achieve your goal” which, translated to American Business speak is: “Great Product, Happy Customers, Successful Company!”
VP, Product Management
Alexey Turchanikov is an experienced engineering leader with deep expertise in agile development methodology, large-scale distributed software system design and secure cloud storage systems. Alexey is responsible for the technical development and architecture of Infrascale’s platform – and leadership of Infrascale’s development organization. Alexey joined the company in 2010 as Lead Architect for SOS Online Backup. His ability to extract performance from and create product ownership within our Development and Operations teams has been key to his past and current success.
Prior to Infrascale, Alexey had leadership roles at several large software development houses, focusing on Telecom Industry and Government Institutions.
Alexey graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine and holds degrees in both Management and Mathematics.
Country Manager India
John Solomon joined Infrascale in 2007 and has grown his way into leading the entire India Operations. He assumed the role of General Manager in 2009 and has been directly managing lead generation and sales teams. He also indirectly manages back office operations that include billing and collection, infrastructure and customer service. John is based in Chennai office in India but also travels to Bangalore sales office.
John has over 10 years of experience in inbound and outbound marketing. Prior to Infrascale, he led global marketing and communication in ZSL, Inc. and Corporate Asia Technologies.
John earned his Master in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing and Human Resources. John and his wife, Revathy, have two lovely daughters.
